Montreal is going to have to "Throw out the baby with the bathwater" if they want Calgary to accept that deal.

Actually for cap alone, this is one of the (maybe the only) fair trade of the many Josh Anderson trades proposed at CF.
But as poor as Mango production has been this year, it's no worse than Anderson's. IMO Mango is the better player, and the two extra years of Anderon's contract still makes it a "no" from Calgary.

I appreciate the response. I understand your perspective on the 2 extra years. I will simply say that I believe the cap rising over the next 3 years will make those last 2 years seem very affordable. Looking at it now it seems expensive, and it always will be overpriced, but rather than 2M above the market cost, in years 4 and 5 it will probably seem only 1M above the market cost. I think Anderson could do some damage for Calgary. They play a brand of hockey much better suited to his talents.
