      Oilers probably keep Bourgault.
What is that Dubois trade? They get way more than that as a rental at the deadline next season.

Definitely agree on Dubois, but Eddy is exactly the kinda guy GMs will overpay for so I could see that.

I just think the Oilers need the few good prospects they have and I feel they would rather trade picks. At least that would be me if I was Ken Holland.

If MTL ends up with the top 2 picks in the 2023 draft, I will no longer watch the NHL.

Lol, Kenny has done a pretty decent job in my opinion. He came into a pretty bad situation. No good prospects, poor cap situation and some bad contracts. Not to mention losing your top defender to injury. He does have a couple not great signings but then he has some real good ones, that goes with any gm. Considering where the team was and where it is now, just lost in the west final, I would say he's doing a decent job anyways. Who would have known Campbell would be such a flop though?

Yeah I do have some complaints though....The nurse deal is rough, I think you overpaid for Duncan Keith last year(If you think he helped Bouch develop I guess this one is fine) and then both rentals in the covid year didn't go to well. I also don't think he has a good job dealing with JP. Although you can't deny he came into a tough situation like you said.

Yeah I could say the Kassian signing was a bad one. Nurse deal isn't great but he is their best defenceman. That also seemed like the market at the time though and I think he was also paying for potential a bit as well. Keith was silly in my opinion, but I understand why, get a guy that knows how to win and bring some veteran leadership to the room. The AA trade was bad for Edmonton but I get why he did it, get someone to play with Mcdavid who can match his speed. I also didn't understand whatever happened to Marino but that one is looking bad as well, no one really even talks about it. I don't know if he refused to sign or what.

Most people don't realize it but you look at the team weaknesses right now and how well Marino has played the last few seasons and I would say it kind of hurts, he would be a really good fit.
He was drafted by Edmonton in the 6th Round in 2015 and traded for a 6th Round pick in 2019 to Pittsburgh.

Technically everything hasn't happen yet could happen, and only what couldn't happen is only because it has already happened.

Yeah. I don't think anyone thought he would be a flop. But I definitely would have been skeptical and offered a "prove it" deal first. He had one really good season with TOR that ended with some very questionable play last year. Not enough to get 5x5, IMO.
