How is Chicago "paying a big price for Laf"?

The Colorado third is probably #93 to #96 while the Chicago fourth is probably #97 to #99, so that's effectively a wash, and Kurashev certainly isn't more valuable than Goodrow even though he has upside, so this trade is fewer than 50 games of Patty Kane and a pick between #129 and #131 for several years of Alexis LaFreniere.

I just don't see the Rangers doing this.

Not going to happen. Just give us both the 2023 picks and keep Laf or one of the 2023 1st's + a decent prospect + 3rd or something.

With Goodrows contract he is a negative asset, Kurashev isn't worth much but he I still wouldn't move him for Goodrow 1-for-1.....
