I don’t think it makes sense for NYR to trade for Horvat.

They just signed Trocheck to be 2nd line centre to a full NMC for the first 3yrs.

Trocheck is a third line center IMO... I wonder if Trocheck would waive his NMC?? As him and Miller are really good friends that train together in off-season.

I disagree. The DAL 1st is likely in the late 20’s, and Van is jammed up on the wing.
If I’m Alvin & Rutherford, I’ve got a list of the top 10 D+1/+2 RHD prospects and im working through that list. Pair that prospect with a pick. imo, if they deal their captain, , they need to target a young RHD, with top pair potential.
