Why would LA want anything to do with that trade?

The Kings have a logjam at RHD. At one point this season, 5 of their 6 defensemen were right shots. They have less than zero use for Savard.

Montreal chose to draft Mailloux and now they're stuck with the bad PR nightmare. No thanks.

Josh Anderson would be a nice pickup for the 3rd line if he had a $3.5M cap hit. Retain $2M of his contract and the Kings might give up a 2024 1st for him.

There's nothing in this trade that would entice the Kings to give up Byfield or Turcotte.

Good troll job though I guess.

The first Edmonton trade is the closest thing to reality here.

I’ve watched Logan play 9 games this season. Trust me, Montreal is definitely not trading him. He will eventually be a top 4 D-man. He’s playing really well in London this year.

LA fanbase doesn't tolerate scandal. Blake wouldn't trade for him, even at a bargain price. Not worth the negative PR.

You call it a scandal. I call an immature stupidity from a 17 year old trying to impress his older teammates. He has taken two years of courses and has impressed numerous people involved.

And if your pious kings fan base doesn’t tolerate “scandal”, I can tell you seven stories regarding kings players over the last twenty years that were much worse than that.

Every time there's an off-ice scandal (especially surrounding sexual misconduct and/or domestic violence), the fans turn on said player. Drugs, not so much considering this is California.

Just ask Slava Voynov and Mark Hardy about it.

I know a kings player personally that I ended up counselling during the offseason that did much much worse than Logan taking one picture from an older woman that admitted texting him first and pursuing him first.

Logan comes from a great family. I met his father, mother and sister. This was a one off from an admitted immature stupidity. There was no rape, no beating. The older woman admitted she pursued him and the sexual encounter was consensual. I’m not turning a blind eye, I just find it funny that those that won’t let this event from over two years ago, go, often know little about the facts.
