So you're admitting the team is more than Bedard. Bedard had 2 points and we scored 6 goals. There's more to the team than just Bedard. He's just so mainstream because he's having the best tournament for a 17 YO in maybe Tournament History.

Nah. The whole team is Bedard still, other than the goalie.... Scoring 2 goals in a goalie without Bedard is amazing for team canada this tournament though! The other 3 Bedard was out there on the ice.

I mean he's still our franchise player. It's like Saying Edmonton is only McDavid or Edmonton is only Gretzky. There's more too the team even though they are Franchise level players. My point is this team is capable of winning without Bedard, it's just focused on Bedard because he is our best player.

Without Bedard there is not chance you would've beaten Sweden. This isn't a NHL team...this world juniors team has a lot of players who are not tilting the ice like you would expect. Like last year with Bedard and a McTavish

This year it would've been Stankoven and Roy with Wright & Fantilli as our secondary scorers. This team was one of the best we've ever had. Guenther/Clarke/Zellweger. This team is stacked from top to bottom.

I'd argue Edmonton at it's current status is exactly just McDavid. Without him, they'd be competing for Bedard.
