Hello! I am not very good at determining value. So bare with me! The Avs do not have the assets to make another big splash at the deadline. But what they can do is a sneaky trade like this (Tampa bay like). Bednar loves his speedy high energy guys and Trenin fits that bill. I understand that Kaut could've been taken on waivers. However, I just decided to throw him in as another young player in need of a change of scenery. Perhaps Trenin becomes JT's replacement when the Avs can't re-sign him. Not having the greatest year this year. However, 17 goals last year. And 3 goals in 4 playoff games last year. Nashville hopefully accepts they are in need of a rebuild. And Trenin is just one of the first casualties to move. Let me know your thoughts. Is there a fit here? Is the value fair? What would make this go through to work for each team? Thanks.
