I don’t think this is the time for buffalo to do that. Right now an argument could be made that the two best teams in the NHL are in division. That’s not the time to be big buyers to try to sneak into the playoffs.

Kevyn Adams’ goal isn’t playoffs, it’s bringing a cup(s) to Buffalo. He’s not going to do anything that lowers the chance of future cups just to get in the playoffs today. I don’t think he does any of this, not gonna pay for a rental ROR, and I don’t think Chychurn is a fit for the Sabres when considering the cost to get him. The Sabres have their LD top 4 set for the foreseeable future, and Dahlin/Power fill the roles of PP Qb already. I could perhaps see the Pool Party trade, but doubt we’d be sending out a defenseman when we are deep at W.
