Détails additionnels:
I've heard Preds won't be able to re-sign both Dante & Carrier? Especially since Jeannot will need a fat raise too. Preds need scoring, Nucks need defence?

Johansen is a DUMP at his contract.
Would be interested to hear NSH fans proposals if I'm completely barking up the wrong tree?

Détails additionnels:
I'm a big fan of Kakko, but feel at this point the Rangers would take a good return for him. Schenn seems to be a consensus high 2nd/low 3rd. Curious to hear views on Garland's value..

I know that I just keep saying this, but NSH is more than Bo Horvat away from being good. We have so many issues, which all start from the GM and coaching positions. Even if we got Horvat, I'd expect Hynes to make him an absolute SCRUB by the end of the year.

I think we'll have the cap to sign both Fabbro and Carrier. Jeannot and Carrier are quickly playing themselves out of big extensions

Very easy NO THANKS from the Rangers. Kakko isn't going anywhere.

Why do Dallas and Columbus say no?

I do agree, but feel like the Rangers would probably accept a 1st for him at this point? At what point do you give up?

Give up? He is 21 and just starting to scratch the surface of what he can do. He is a very good 200 foot player that drives possession at just 21 years old. The offense will come. Rangers are very happy with him and not looking to trade him, period.

Nashville currently has the 8th worst record in the NHL, No way in hell are they trading for Bo Horvat.

And neither is Columbus trading for J. T. Miller not when they're country miles out of a playoff race.

Clearly we are dying for a shakeup as these are all pretty rough from the Canucks perspective.

I was about to say, coming from CBJ I’m not entirely opposed All at the cost of Rosy and our third best D prospect? I’d also be willing to swap Boqvist in for CC.

Not bad, really.

When there’s no roster space or cap space. The Rangers aren’t in position to sell like they would be in your hypothetical.

Blue Jackets and 80% chance Predators aren’t going to buy.
80% chance Rangers aren’t going to sell.

I feel like that offer for Kuzmenko is light on Vancouver’s end though.

When he's not actually showing that he's a dominant player in year 4. Kakko is currently showing why he was drafted 2nd overall. He's just not getting PP time, which will come.
He's puck dominant, and he's slowly putting up numbers.
Look at his puck possession numbers not his pure goal numbers.

That Miller contract is going to eat us alive in the later years right when we're about ready to compete, though. Even with an offer like this, I think it's a really bad idea unless we get retention on it - which the Canucks would be foolish to agree to.
