That first run tampa had so many defensemen playing like it was Schenn, Bogosian, Shattenkirk, Hedman, McDonaugh, Couburn, Sergachev, Rutta, Cernak and Schenn's best moment was fighting Matt Martin. Do you remember how Schenn played the year tampa acquired him like I think he played in Utica for half the year? How much has he improved?

I’ve never seen people hate a guy like Luke Schenn so much. It’s ok if you haven’t watched him the past couple years. I don’t blame you. However you all gotta stop making hyperbolic claims saying Schenn is a pylon for an AHL defenseman. That’s simply not true

He has improved considerably. Obviously he isn’t ever going to be the 5OA d man he was drafted to be but he is a very good guy to play with a younger d man. Fantastic stay at home, physical d man. Doesn’t make many mistakes, plays a simple hard game. I don’t understand the hate

I don't hate Schenn he's buy every account a really good dude. Was nice when I met him , just his game sucks . He's a f***ING pylon.

Just can't understand how stupid people can be the GM Let a guy walk for nothing but are going to turn around and give their best picks away for a guy who wouldn't skate but 1/2 the time MAYBE AND THATS A BIG MAYBE . just because Vancouvers defense sucks so bad Schenn looks good doesn't mean everyone else wants him at top value .

In 2 years in TB he played exactly 1/2 of the regular season games 63/126 and was a complete pylon. While playing less than 1/2 post season games 19/48 where his biggest contribution was punching Matt Martin and that he's expected to get a 2nd or a 3rd+ for. He really didn't contribute much more to the point he rode coattails to 2 Stanley Cups

I thought he was a good player maybe it’s the shock cause on Tampa it was like Schenn/Bogosian 7D then Bogosian is still at that level but Schenn improved significantly. I gotta watch a Vancouver game to see it.

He definitely has improved. Obviously he isn’t going to carry a line but he works perfectly with an offensive minded d man, and is a very good mentor. He has been the perfect partner for Quinn Hughes
