Fabbro isn't a top 4 Dman. He's a third pair caliber defenseman. This is a totally fair trade. Sisson's also doesn't have that much trade value either, he's mostly there to make the money work

I have watched probably 3/4 of Fabbro’s career games, and I can say with certainty that he is a top 4 defender. Recently, in the absence of 3 out of our top 7 D men, he has stepped up in a big way and is playing great. He’d be the top RD on the Canuck’s pitiful defense. Plus, NSH only has 2 NHL-level RHDs, so we can’t trade one without getting one back.

Also, Sissons is worth a 3rd easily

Canucks don't have a pitiful defense, part of the problems have been goaltending. Fabbro doesn't play enough minutes to be considered a top four caliber defender. Not good enough offensively or defensively. Sissons isn't worth a 3rd unless Nashville takes comparable salary back in return for him along with that pick

Come on, the right side or that defense is one of the worst in the league. Watch Fabbro play and you’ll see what I mean, and since December 1st he’s reached a new level.

Bear is less of a to 4 D man than Fabbro. LMAO. Still that right side of the D is painfully bad. Sissons may be gone if it wasn’t for Poile. He loves that guy and so does Hynes. If Sisson gets traded, it’s to a contender at the deadline

Who are you to say Bear is less of a top 4 D than Fabbro. Bear does better in a matchup role than Fabbro, and they both have about the same offensive output. Fabbro just rides Josi's coattails

Fabbro doesn’t play in a pairing with Josi. Fabbro has driven play recently. Watch a Preds game and you’ll see why I’m so high on him

Most of Fabbro’s production has come very recently, he’s just looked great. He only averages 16 minutes a night because John Hynes doesn’t know how to run a lineup or a team at all.
