Nelson a better center than Horvat? That's debatable, and Horvat isn't as one dimensional as you think. He still drives his own line even if he isn't a defensive stalwart or a wizard of a playmaker

The fact that it’s debatable is why this trade makes no sense for the isles. Nelson is just as good of a goal scorer as Horvat and a much better playmaker. The isles do not not need to waste high end assets for a center on a shooting bender.
