  1. Vladar, Daniel
Détails additionnels:
Maybe a trade based around these two. This only happens if Calgary feels Wolf is ready for backup duty. Not sure if either team would add in this scenario, both sides get something they need. This deal would likely be a draft day deal.
CGY
  1. Vilardi, Gabriel [Droits de RFA]
2.
LAK
  1. DeBrincat, Alex [Droits de RFA]
Détails additionnels:
Some sort of deal based around this sort of package? Ottawa gets a RD to play with Sanderson, Kings get a top line winger, don't know if LA really even needs a player like Debrincat but they have the pieces. Arvidsson just in there for cap purposes, Ottawa can choose to resign him or trade him at the deadline.
3.
LAK
SJS
  1. Petersen, Cal
  2. Walker, Sean
Détails additionnels:
Add a little more value if needed from the Kings side. Sharks will need a goalie to play with Kahkonen if they trade Reimer or if he walks. Peterson still has the ability to rebound.

Interesting thoughts for sure...Few things that pop into my head because I'm bored...
-It's insane that you never hear people talking about Fiala. I hate using the term "underrated", but he's the friggin' definition. So disappointed that my Duckos missed out on him.
-I don't trust Vladar for you guys, especially if you're trying to make a run. Just don't think that tandem gets it done.
-With Dubcat, I think you've gotta send a higher end package, or Ottawa comes out of this looking bad. I don't think I'd have moved 7OA last year alone for Durzi+Arvidsson, so to have done that, and moved a 2nd and 3rd would just be Dorion taking a big L.
-Can SJ afford to take that much cap on?

If I’m moving Debrincat , I want the equivalent of Faber and a 1st. I wish they still had Faber , he’d be such a good fit with Sanderson

1st+Spence+somebody/something? Faber > Spence, but I really think Spence is a guy that Sens fans would love.

Calgary would want futures considering Vladar has outperformed markstrom this year and has a low AAV for 2 more years. If he is for sales, they will bid the price up at the draft for a higher pick

I would love Spence for sure but with the way the Sens D is built , I’d rather someone who’s more known for defence or even a RD that’s big and physical

Yeah, that's completely fair. He used to play spring hockey with us and my god...that kid went from being a average/decent player in Bantam/Midget, to a very solid Jr. A player, to a overage draftee in the Q, to being a very good Nhler in a small sample size last year. Crazy growth in his skills.

In the description I stated that picks and prospects would need to be added. I was just throwing what the base of the trades would be.

I feel like Calgary would prefer a roster player that would help the team now over futures. They are in win now mode.

A trade around Vilardi for Hanifin maybe. The Kings aren't about to trade their leading goal scorer for a backup goaltender.

The idea is that Vladar becomes the starter in LA. I was thinking that maybe Kylington could be involved as well, thought about it after I made the post though.

The Sharks aren't taking on a $5m/yr AHL goaltender for a fringe defenseman. No chance, Kings would have to add significantly.

The Kylington that was waived and cleared last season? The Kylington that has been out all season dealing with personal issues that may or may not come back anytime soon? No thanks. Don't want him for free.

Vladar is a backup goaltender that has played less than 40 games in his NHL career. His numbers are average at best, and that's playing in a Darryl Sutter system where goaltenders usually excel. I might consider giving up a 2024 3rd round pick for him.

Sharks like Makiniemi a lot. No need for Petersen or Walker. Grier is in the business of shedding cap not adding it.

While he is player better this year, his numbers aren't insanely impressive. He's a top 9 forward at this point. It's a deep draft and Calgary's cupboards are bare. They don't need anymore top 9s, they need a top line RW.

Vilardi isn't pushing them over the top. They have plenty of mid tier wingers already
