Calgary looks very bad defensively this season. I've only watched them play a handful of games thus far. I know Markstrom has been ripped apart, but he's been completely hung out to dry on at least 3 of the 5 GA.

That's the thing, he's shown he's capable of more but could really use a shakeup. I think he's a good buy low candidate who could very reasonably out-perform what you paid for him. He's young and plays a position of need for the Leafs. The only thing is the contract is a bit pricey - they'd probably need or want some shaved off, but I like the fit.

Myself. Been an eventful few years. My mother died last February at age 100. She was sharp till the end, but her heart gave out, My wife of died at age 66 of complications of Alzheimers in July 2021. Have been fortunate that I found a great girlfriend. We have the same interests we curl, play cards, fish,, cottage and se loves her hot tub. Surprisingly, at age 68, the time in bed has been fantastic.
Life in for me has been wonderful. Retired, with friends, not worried about money., good health. ..that's pretty good at any age.
