Don't see the reasoning for Detroit to be making that trade or Vancouver with the Winnipeg deal.

The Blues swap is interesting, but I think the point of a Boeser deal is to create cap space, not to double down on older players

Hughes is 100% worth that. Detroit still isn't making that trade.

Detroit doesn't accept but it isn't because of value. The player drafted with that pick along with Edvinsson will have a longer impact on the team than Hughes would with his 4 years left until free agency. Hughes isn't going to magically take this team to the next level of contention and honestly this team is still likely 2-3 years from it. There would likely be a different team that could pay similar assets for a player of Hughes caliber and maybe even more. Teams that come to mind are the Islanders, the Hurricanes, possibly the Blue Jackets and possibly the Rangers.

Detroit is not a buyer and won't be for another 3-4 years.

I'd say as soon as TDL '24, personally, but it still isn't now.

I'd do the Hughes deal, it's worth the price.

Sorry, Wings are getting better but at this very point, Wings can not give up to assets for one in the rebuild.

I agree Vancouver is making that trade for obvious reasons. Where Detroit is right now and that pick most likely being a lottery pick I think Detroit is better of with the pick and the player. But it would be really nice to have Quinn and Seider in Detroit's 1st pair.

No thanks, Edvinsson and a potential top 10 pick in the 2023 NHL draft, As much as i like Quinn Hughes i would rather just keep Edvinsson and the pick. Though it's a very fair offer.

Hughes Seider was my dream pairing for the Canucks before Detroit took him early in that draft. I thought he would be available at 10 for the Canucks. They would compliment each other so well.

Fair enough. It would be a draft day trade though so Detroit would know where their pick is and who is available. My guess is Detroit ends up picking in the 9-13 range.

Hughes is a great player but I wouldn't make that trade. Edvinsson has a chance to be as good or better not to mention whoever we draft in 23 will most likely be a stud. The 23 draft is awesome.
