I’d rather sign Nyquist back on a cheaper deal. Give some more minutes to marchenko. Texier could be coming back next year as well. Would rather use the cap freed up by Jake to get another defenseman or 1C

True I just see boeser as a replacement for bjorky. A shoot first type of guy who is established in the league.

I don't hate the value on this trade for him and could get on board with your logic here. We have too many RD now, so moving one out makes a ton of sense. I don't love the idea of brining in a winger, but for his skill at this price, plus a pick in return, I'd probably do it.

He would be a good addition for sure I just think that cap space could be used better to improve different positions. I also think chinakhov could be a solid replacement. Hasn’t put up a bunch of points but has shown a lot of improvement from last year. KJ/gaudreau/Laine have 3 of the top 4 forward spots locked down and I think the jackets have plenty of guys that could take that last spot

Completely agree on china. Just don’t want to rush him along. He’s been great this year. He’s bigger much more aggressive and has all the tools to be even better than Oliver.

He'd be a very poor replacement. Boeser doesn't have anything even distantly resembling the defensive game Bjorkstrand has. We're better off developing guys like Chinakhov and Marchenko.
