I doubt Bouchard is on the way out. Edmonton have quite a few assets and young prospects that they could trade to improve their team. They won't need to trade Bouchard for that.

Also, why is New Jersey trading anyone off their roster right now? They are cup contenders.

This team is actually very good on paper. I really liked it going into the year. My one biggest concern coming into the year was that I didn't think they had a #1 LD. So I suggested they get a guy like Chychrun, sot they could push guys like Sieg and Graves down one spot. But I was clearly wrong. They are doing just fine!

I’d definitely give up more for Bouchard, but that aside I agree with this

The Devils are a very good, young team on paper. Have been for a while. Deal with it.
