I see that as an overpay. Buchnevich is great, don't get me wrong, and O'Reilly is the kind of 200 foot player I would target..... but for 3 really good prospects and a pair of 1sts? Ouff.

More harm than good imo.

i would waive Benn and timmins to get under cap. Definitely would cost a lot to get both o'reilly and Buch, but i agree i may have added too much to this post. tough in the long run for sure.

Buch isn’t being traded

A GM trading for both is going to try to pay less than what it would cost to trade for them individually. I think you're giving up more assets than the sum of assets required to acquire them individually, instead of paying less.

Just keep it simple and trade for ROR. I doubt Buch is available at all
