If they are retaining, you will pay for him. Boeser at the full price tag will be given away. The agent is now talking to teams which means they are desperate to move Brock after trying to trade him at last TDL and offseason then more or less forced to sign him with a huge qualifying offer threat

Ya Boeser hasn’t had the best year but he’s still nearly a PPG player and isn’t a throw away. If Canucks give him away for nothing that will be idiotic. But then again we are talking about the Canucks who might have had among the worst management consistently in all their 50+ years

We don't trade him if the return is any less than the offer here. Retention is a non-starter. I'm willing to listen at a 2nd + 3rd, but if not - even if his value isnt there - he stays in vancouver.

Lol basically free? Get real. Boeser is still a top 6 forward and nearly a PPG player. His rookie season he looked like Ovi and he certainly has dropped off but he’s not someone you give away for free. Then again this is the Canucks management…
