Meier is on pace for 35 goals after scoring 35 last year and that would be his 3rd 30 goal season of his career, Jasper has no 30 goal season and this is the 1 st year he is our point producing Meier. but most hockey people prefer goals over assists so Meier is still better at hockey.

Bratt is better in every advanced metric over the last 3 years and is only lagging Meier in goals/60 1.01 to 1.22. To say he's weaker, when he's *at worst* on equal footing, is just laughable. Again, this isn't bodybuilding.

I don't quite share your assessment. looking at their production this year Jesper is out pacing Meier PPG and by a fair margin. However Meier is a power forward who creates more shots and goals (he is a leauge leader in shots created and high danger shots) where Jesper is more a set up guy, albeit with a good shot as well.
having both on the same line with a solid 2 way C like Hertl or in NJD case Hischier would be awesome. but when your going player for player I feel Meier would be the bigger prize and at the very least a pic (2nd or 3rd) would be needed to even the field.
in hockey smaller players with skill are far more prized than in the past, but GM's still covet size and skill over smaller skilled players.

all this being said the fact you found him in the 6th round is amazing and Kuddos to your scouting team! in a redraft I bet money he is in the top 15 of that draft.
