If Minny is in the playoff hunt at the deadline, which is possible, since they have a great team, they could push for a free agent. Rossi would be a lot but he has faltered hard this year.

I usually make Horvat to Colorado, as I see that being a great fit, but Colorado fans disagree.

Horvat would have to come with a cheap (relatively speaking) contract extension before MN could/would/should think about something like this.

Also... I make AGMs for a lot of teams because I enjoy this. I am a fan of the sport. I am sure I have made a lot of great AGMs and a lot of piss poor ones. It is still fun for me! No need to critisize people for making agms for other teams. A lot of people do it.

Mayfield is a big, defensive dman, eating almost 20 mins a night. He will get AT LEAST 4.5m a year. I think he may get up to 5.5m since the cap is going up.

Mayfield is not suddenly jumping up to 5m aav after a decade. Big munching minute D who could be replaced by the likes of Holl for half that price.

Holl will fetch 4m + as a UFA this year also.

Look at a guy like Manson with Colorado. He got a 4.5m offer and is playing close to 17 mins. Around 3 minutes less. Of course Colorado's team is broken good but Mayfield will be in that similar boat. BUT the cap may go up a ton. If so, we will be shocked at how much some of these guys get paid. If the cap goes to 85-86.5m, contracts will be shocking this off season.

Manson has a much bigger reputation than both those two and is an overpay now. I like Mayfield but I like Mayfield at DeMelo money or less. I don't agree with you about Holl either $ wise but I do like him as well. Just not big money.
