Hah! Do you know how desperate we are for levi to pan out. Unless you're sending back a solid nhl goalie or a goalie prospect we think is better dont bother asking. Im pretty sure his next contract negotiation will come by droid "help us devon levi, you're our only hope"
Portillo is the option whose rumored to be interested in testing the market and for the little your offering you should be asking for the guy who is a free agent later this summer.

I take it you didn't pay attention to any of the details of this ACGM considering it's based for the 24-25 season so the guy who's a FA later this summer doesn't exactly work for a season 2 years away,

If we had a better prospect than Levi or a solid NHL goalie, why tf would we trade for a lesser goalie prospect?

Now I agree that a top goalie prospect is of high value, but Roy is far from a "little" return when talking prospects.

True Roy is, but at this point he's a pure shooter and we already have one in Olofsson. Levi ends this conversation and I am not trying to be disrespectful

That's understandable, I was simply correcting the issues of that comment.

I get what you are going at with this thread, but It’s Very unlikely it happens. Levi has said many times that he wants to be here in Buffalo, likes the culture we’re building and all the talent that’s coming up. Portillo on the other hand hasn’t been so clear about his intentions and would make more sense for a deal like this.

Roy is interesting, developing nice for a 5th rnd pick. Think out of the 4 young goalie's we have Levi is pretty untouchable unless the package really opens Adams eyes. Are you looking just for a goalie, as long as Roy keeps developing and keeps the grit, could be intriguing.

Didn't know Levi said that! Fair enough. I think habs will try to find a young goalie with potential somehow, and trading from a position of strength probably makes the most sense.
