I'm both happy and terrified if you're correct, because DAL cap situation is F*CKED if this is true.

Johnston's and Oettinger's new contracts coincide nicely with Benn expiring, but a year later Robertson is due for an extension, and I think that next deal might be worth 9 digits in total. Unfortunately, there's no players around that'd create the necessary cap space.

Seguin's contract lasts one more year after Robo's extension.

Guys who come into the league at 19 and have the impact he’s having usually go on to become stars. It’s a good problem to have, I thought Borque was going to be the star, it looks like he’ll be a solid top 6 winger at this point.

With the cap expected to skyrocket, I don’t think Dallas will have a problem retaining everyone unless they give out dumb contracts to aging vets. A good start would be giving Dellandrea a 6 year deal in the 3.5-4 mill range and Lundkvist an 8 year deal in the 5-6 mill range.

I don't think he is top 15 potential, maybe top 30 as he is amazing but the list of centers he will have to pass to be a top 15 center in the next 10 years is quite something...If you want elite impact that points towards a top 15 center before they are 19 that is Beniers not Johnston

I should have said anywhere between 10-20. He won’t be lower than 20. I’d take him over Savoie . it’s also possible guys like Barkov, Aho, , Hintz regress to the point where they are in the 20-30 range for centers. They will be exiting their primes.

I still don't see him being top 20 thats all i am saying, but we are just shooting darts into the wind right now lol. pretty much the only sure thing right now is McDavid and matthews will probably be top 5 the rest of there careers.

Pierre-Luc Dubious is a very hesitant player, I wouldn't bet on him being good

Hischier isn’t selke caliber, he doesn’t even have the best defensive impact among devils forwards

The weird thing is DeAngelo on a team who had plenty of Defensive D would make sense as he would help generate some offense from the backend. But man for a team who already had Ristolinen it made 0 sense

And people got mad when I was like why Toronto didnt respond to the Roy hit. I know it was clean but come on 2 examples of when it happens the other team responds and one was in the same game but it was LA
