Even if he did wave (which he will not) would you really want to take on that all kind of awful playing almost 10 M a year until 32 years of age d man?

+/- is literally one of the worst ways to evaluate a defensive player. It's a representation of 5 guys on the ice plus a goalie not an individual that is why advanced stats like JFresh cards I shared in that article are much better. He's been paired with some pretty bad defenders like his brother and on ice against the top competition always and often times with the Hawks 4th line in front.

Okay, I'm not going to argue with that.

Everything else aside, if Jones wants a trade and is actually looking around the league at good and/or up and coming teams that have a need for a top RHD, he probably isn't going to find a better fit than OTT. BUT, CHI declines. I think they would sooner just not trade him than accept a package like this.
