Myers has already said no to the trade. Ottawa is on his 10 team no trade list. Most likely the Canucks are stuck with him until after his signing bonus is paid, he'll be easier to trade when he's only owed $1M.

New ownership, new management, new coaching staff is about to arrive in Ottawa. They probably won't be interested in having Myers and his 6.0 next year so you don't have to worry. Dorion might even not be allowed to make deals anymore as the sale is about to be made
