The Sabres won’t move him because they had to fight tooth and nail to get him. The problem is that the Sabres simply don’t have any minutes for him because they already have three centers they like and there’s a log jam of wingers. If they move on from Olafsson or Mittelstadt then he gets more time for sure.

Great idea! Get rid of the guys who have contributed 16 Goals and 26 Points so a Guy who hasn’t scored a Goal and has only put up 3 Assists gets more playing time.

We’ll considering that one of those guys is 27 with a 4.75m salary and is strictly a perimeter player who contributes nothing else to the game aside from hanging out for a big shot; and the other is a 24-yo center who can only score with the man advantage and both guys are defensive black holes and probably are what they are at this point, yea, I would much rather give Krebs more ice time, because whil their stats look good on paper; that third line of Olafsson and Mittelstadt has cost this team games this year, and at minimum, I want to get Mittelstadt away from Olafsson. So yes it is a great idea.

I would move mittelstadt before I move Krebs. I don't think boqvist is a great target for Buffalo, we have offensive defensemen, we need defensive d, preferably ones that are more physical.
