Leafs can't give up RHD Holl, so the trade really hurts the Leafs this season. Next season, instead of Garland, Leafs need the cap to resign Bunting.

Henrique fills a need for Van. Myers trade off is getting a younger wing closer to Anaheim's futurt plan. Myers fills the Klingberg roll shortly.

Garland doesn't provide enough value to TO. They have everything he is for less money.

Yes he is needed. He has been playing 23 mins a night right now. When they were healthy he was still getting 19-20. Only way they trade Holl, is if it is for an upgrade over Holl (on the right side). Which Vancouver does not have.

I know Boeser has been bad this year, but why would you trade him with a negative value asset and end up just getting Henrique??

Playing the right side when healthy. Brodie, Holl, Lilegren. Benn an Holloway next in line, so Holl is needed. The last four games, road regulation wins, Holl played 24 minutes a night. Holl is really needed this year.

Hmmmmm, that's an interesting idea for Anaheim. Maybe complicates things in a year or two with what to do about Strome when McTavish is ready to take over 2C, but I suppose that's a problem for down the road. It would be ideal if Boeser could play the left.

I'm not sold on Boeser. Certainly talented but injuries are worrying and fit is a problem. Henrique fills the 3C need and can play up if needed. Maybe there are better options but also looking at how to address the cap with Bo and Petey soon. So few teams could take on cap from Boeser or Myers separately, let alone together.

I would rather retain a bit on him and get futures or a younger unproven player. Adding a guy like Henrique just seems like another Vancouver move to stay in the mushy middle forever
