There's a lot of meh in that offer for Shattenkirk. Benson looks like his career is stuck in the AHL and he's never going to impress enough to crack a roster. Savoie is an exciting longshot piece at 5'9", but he is a long shot. Murray was a UFA signing for league minimum, he's not much of a piece.

I'm not saying we don't take this deal, as we probably would for the 2nd and the warm body in Murray, you can leave Savoie in the deal, but you can drop Benson out.

Why would Buffalo have any interest in that? Seth Griffith is a career AHLer why would you even throw him into that deal, he couldnt make the Sabres 5 years ago when Buffalo had 0 depth

Columbus declines, nothing offered has any interest for them. No need for wings or RHD. The only interest is the 3rd but they would get a much better offer for Gavrikov 50% retained at the deadline.

I'm not saying short kings can't make it in the show, but the deck is certainly stacked against them. Savoie hasn't exactly blown the doors off on the Condors, granted it takes time to adjust to pro level play so it's not a death sentence. He's interesting, but he is a lottery pick on if he can crack an NHL roster full time.
