I imagine you are going to have to take an expensive contract back such as Baily if you are asking for that high a price, whoever trades for Timo will want to resign them or the value will drop. I know you have the Varlomov deal there, but I think NYI want to hang onto him as their backup for a few years at a cheaper deal, as they really have no young goalie in the pipeline that they trust right now.

If Freddie and Raanta are not healthy, the Canes have Kochetkov. Plus, Varlamov has a worse injury history than either Canes netminder, why would Varlamov realisitically be healthy when NEITHER of the Canes goalies are? As it is, Raanta is healthy, Freddie isn't far off, and Kochetkov is playing out of his mind. There's no need for another goalie
