Nope. Drouin is gone in a year. Nothing in the trade gets you Caufield and Dach looks like he found a little game. And he's probably not a center. Kravtsov makes the trade worse.

I wouldn't listen if those two were in the trade. That doesn't get Dach. Caufield is, by far, the best player in the trade. The Rangers don't match up to what Montreal is willing to trade.

On a asset level Adam Fox is the only guy at Caufields level. Zibinijad and Panarin arent due to age. shesterkin if he had more term would be a conversation. Theres no chance they move fox so theres nothing left.

The habs have the deepest prospect pool in the league a bunch of 2nd and 3rd tier assets are of no interest to the habs. If they trade Caufield it would be for a comparable player back both in talent an age which the ranger simply put dont have.
