Good hockey player, but regardless of whether he's guilty or innocent, there's no way that I'd take that kind of gamble. It's not the exact same thing as the Millar situation, but that's the type of PR nightmare you're potentially looking at.

Yes there is doubt in his case so it would be surprising to see any team trading for him now (which is why him being in proposals makes no sense) after all the bad press about the Hawks situation, Miller, Mailloux, Kane, Virtanen, etc. Society has woke up and people are tired of this crap (some really exaggerate though)

Anyway if Formenton is "canceled" he would have ruined a pretty good career. He's the 2nd fastest skater in the league, has a mean streak, is already very good on the PK and could have scored a **** load of SH goals in his career.
