There's two better option really available at center at the trade deadline. Horvat and Toews. Many teams will be looking for C help.

Andrew Copp got a conditional 2nd last year, which turned into a 1st, another 2nd, a 5th and a prospect. Monahan is on the same pace Copp was.

I could see a trade like that with Toronto or Colorado. MTL would be betting on the team going far this year.
