Lol, so Muzzin is basically going to retire and Myers absolutely sucks. In what way does Vancouver not benefit here. You can easily get 3 better RD for the cost of Myers. There is zero chance TO would take Myers even at half price. Unless you paid us to do so. Myers is terrible

Sure he's Over Paid and Under Performing Offensively, but his role has been changed significantly

He's been stripped of his PP time and is playing on a very poor team overall. They're absolutely atrocious on the Penalty Kill

He's been bad for years. When he was signed a lot of insiders questioned why he got so much. He was coming off a terrible year in Winnipeg where he was a below average 3rd pair defender and Benning gave him 6 million. His advance stats show him as way below average defensively and okay offensively but the results say he's not good at either side of the game. He's huge but not physical, he's a poor skater and makes bad decisions. He's not worth 3 million .

Myers is finishing his contract with the nucks

The stats don't really support your argument. Myers last season with WPG was one of his best. The Guy Threw 145 Hits last season and has absolutely no problem dropping the gloves and fighting either. He's a career 0.38PPG, which is only coming down as a result of playing for VAN the past 2 seasons. I'd love to have him on the Flames, just not at his current Cap Hit
