He likely has a higher perceived value than Bratt (multiple 40 goal seasons, former 1st round pick [just kidding he wasn't], more of a track record), plus he's had more exposure from playing in Chicago with Kane along with the big trade to Ottawa, whereas Bratt has gotten much less coverage in New Jersey, despite being just as good the past couple seasons.
