The last thing Buffalo needs are meh middle 6 wingers. They have no and will continue to have no interest in Boeser

After being injured in camp, being rushed back into the lineup and playing with an injury and having a slow start to the year, Boeser has 13 points in 14 games (0.93 PPG). That would be highest on the Sabres outside of the top line by a decent margin and is almost the same as Skinner and Tuch. Boeser has played with much worse linemates than those two and is still producing.

I could see something like this in the offseason.

The Sabres have so many young wingers, but they would be stupid not to take that trade. Boeser is signed for a few years and would improve the powerplay, especially if Olofsson is traded in the next year or so.

Now we probably don’t even have anyone to replace Mittelstadt, I’m not sure that line Olofsson - Krebs - Boeser will flourish.

Thats precisely what they don't need. Boeser also currently has 2 goals, both in 1 game. He has 9 5v5 points and 5 of them came with Horvat or Miller so you can't blame line mates. He's never had more than 30 goals, never had more than 40 hits. Averages will even out, Buffalo doesn't need anyone like Boeser
