Florida passes, Krug makes more than Reinhart. And besides Krug chose St Louis because he and his wife needed to be close to their Michigan home for personal reasons.

Krug probably doesn't waive because he doesn't want to move. Moving sucks. I'm not sure a big selling point of St. Louis is that it's close to Michigan, it's 5 hours to the border of the state by car, plus wherever you have to go in Michigan, at that point most people are flying. And if you're getting on a plane regardless what difference does it make Missouri or Florida.

I think they are pretty boned, no one wants Hornqvuist and that is their ideal move to make. Duclair might be traded in the end which is wild that their roster destruction will begin so quickly

He also has a M-NTC, chances are the teams that are bottom of the league with cap space would be on that 8 team NTC. I bet they will have to pay a 3rd team to retain, like Arizona, and then be flipped to a contender for nothing.

Sabres need tough defender, not the picks, and Gudas fits. Florida could be willing to move 3rd pairing defender with expiring contract. Picks would come from flipping Hornquist further. I am just guessing.
