we have a top 10 defense in the leauge. why would we trade a first in an incredably stacked draft to fix a positional need we dont partically have. right now we need bottom 6 offense. when our bottom 6 is out there we have like 0 offensive presence. also why the hell would we trade with a divisinal rival rather than the wild themselves?

Oh I wasn't saying that the trades above made sense just that the view of needing more offense and not better defense (team defense as a whole not just D men) was a typical Leafs fan view. It wasn't really supposed to be much of a troll (a little though lol) but was more of a you already have a very high powered offense why not go for a few more defensive minded forwards. Not saying these guys are who you should target but a line comprised of guys like Lehkonen-Dvorak-Armia would significantly improve the Leafs team defense.
