Why all the picks with Fleury? If he is unprotected, Pittsburgh isn't all too concerned with anyone since this would mean Murray is protected. Their biggest unprotected players will likely be Fleury, Hagelin, and Cole (Maybe Maatta) Other than maybe Maatta, I don't think Pittsburgh would offer any picks to pick someone other than those players.

San Jose: Donskoi is exempt from the draft.

Ottawa: Phaneuf has a NMC, is auto protected. I don't believe he'll be asked to waive it. Plays big minutes and he likes it there it seems staying under the shadow of a player like Karlsson. I'm not sure who Ottawa would be so desparate to protect. Only high value player looking like they could be unprotected is Bobby Ryan, and I'm sure he will be protected based upon his playoff performance once Ottawa signs one of their RFAs or UFAs so that player can be exposed instead.

Tampa: Replace Coburn with Garrison.

Rangers: Why would Kampfer be selected? Hayes, Klein, and Raanta are all most likely exposed. It'd make no sense for Kampfer to be selected without a lot of picks thrown in to compensate for not taking one of those 3.

Situations like that are throwing picks so Vegas takes that player instead. So Montreal would be giving Vegas picks to take Montoya over a different player.
