Nick Jensen is nowhere near a top pairing RD, His best season was last year in Washington with 21 points. In no way is Jensen worth a 1st round pick and this coming from a Wings fan that was a diehard jensen fan. he might get you a late 2nd but a 1st rounder is insane.

Edmonton declines. Orlov is certainly not worth a 1st with the season he's having so far.
I get that fans overvalue their own players. But you are both so so so wrong here, especially the Orlov take (sorry to be blunt).
Jensen: 21 points...hes a defensive defenseman. Why are you looking at points when you should know his game (being a Wings fan and all)? He does not specialize in the offensive zone, despite being really effective on the rush. Jensen is a completely different player compared to the time on the Wings (and the first two seasons on Wsh). He has been the most effective (eye test and statistics) for the Caps, and is a perfect stay at home / get the puck out of the zone defender. Plus, being on a great contract will entice teams. He eats up minutes, is very effective in the defensive zone, and can generate chances. Great on the PK as well. And is right handed, which is a need for many playoff contending teams. Just because the Wings gave him away for next to nothing doesn't mean he didn't develop into a very good player...
Orlov: Now this take is one of the worst I have seen in a while. Orlov has better stats than Lindholm, and look at the package he got (yes I know he is 3 years younger). His offensive stats are very good for someone who is also a stay at home defender and provides a great deal of physicality. "The season he's having so far"...he has been hurt for the last ~7 games. Last year, he had 35 points, with 124 hits, and a +25 +/- rating. To say he is "certainly not worth a 1st" just proves that you do not watch the Caps. Which is okay, I don't watch the Oilers (besides McDavid highlights). But don't say no if you don't know anything about the player...
