Kane has had terrible underlyings for a few years now and is not a personality I want in the locker room

He is one of the best players ever…has won every trophy including three cups. I think any team wants to add that kind of pedigree.

He also has a 10.5m cap hit, significant character concerns, and again, terrible underlyings

Cap hit is high...but if retained, and extended at reasonable rate, wouldn't be the reason to say no.

Skills are still there. But doesn't match well to our needs.
I think the reason to skip would be he adds a lot more of the same. We need some heavier play from top-6 wing.
