Take out Iskhakov and add Bailey. 1st, 2nd rounder, 2nd liner and top 9 player who they can flip at 2024 TDL makes more sense. Iskhakov is our 2nd best prospect and tearing up the AHL, cant justify this just fro Horvat

Absolutely bonkers overpayment for a guy that's shooting the lights out. I don't think he keeps shooting 22% the rest of the way, and I don't love the idea of trading for a center who pushes one of our top 6 guys out of position.

OP edited - Tarasenko/Bailey trades weren't here when I commented (and judging by other comments I think they've edited the Tarasenko trade too). Can't remember the original package but think it was Iskhakov + the 1sts in 2023 & 24.

Horvat to the Isles is a bad fit - they need a winger, not a center, so what the Isles want to pay and what other teams will offer from Horvat will definitely not line up.
