the way the ROR trade is playing out is crazy, wouldn't be surprised if it looked back on for years to come as a example of it takes years for a trade to fully play out. Although imo even though TT has broken out and is a really good play the Blues still win that trade because ROR was the conn smythe when the blues won the cup and is their captain now, although the I think the Sabres could win it if TT keeps playing like he is and if Ryan Johnson becomes a good player for them

Looks like a win win in my books regardless at this point. Sabres held FIRM on Tage and you gotta respect the patience and dedication (by Tage aswell) and the Blues directly got a cup from the trade as without ROR they ain’t winning. Who knows if the Blues would have handled Tage the same/ he develops the same if they mismanage him/ trade him to a team that fumbles him while trying to win said theoretical cup.
