Description
I'm not sure Kane or Toews gets traded (or Seth Jones). Just looking at where I think players fit best regardless of cap. Return for players is unknown.

    Ottawa needs to defend better. McCabe has really stepped back to the player he was in Buffalo. Playing really well.

      lot of offers involve Kane but TOR can score, or will score. I just think the are light on top D. Murphy is legit top 4. One of those guys you really appreciate how good he is the more you watch.

        Seattle is taking some steps forward this year. TJ was showing some of his old form before ankle injury. With playoff experience and his rebound, could be a good fit.

          Dickinson seems to have gotten back to his form in Dallas as a really good 3rd line, depth player. Good pk and his offense has picked back up. Just a versatile, solid player.

            I know I said no Toews, Kane, or Jones but can't resist. Toronto just seems like perfect fit. Toews has turned back the clock to go with all the intangibles. Toronto has tried to bring in that vet presence to get them over the top, Toews has been there and done that when it comes to playoffs.

                Why not trade AA or Domi? They are ideal targets for the tdl. Stalock would also be a decent trade target for some teams with injured tenders. Jones trade wont happen, they would rather have someone like Murphy when Dahlin and likely powers will both be #1 dmen in the league, they probably dont want too much money tied up in defense when Dahlin/Powers get paid.

                As a Leaf fan Seth Jones underlying numbers are very good for the team he is on, If you put him next to Power, I’d be Terrified of The Sabres
