can we offer you one Joel Armia instead? looks like a player who turns it up int he playoffs. like we saw on the 4th line during the 2021 run
edit: lower cap hit as well

OTT isn’t trading a lottery 1st rd pk for Drouin and Byron lol
Hoffman is washed.

The WPG deal might make sense in the offseason only (if it’s a later pick and they are looking for a shakeup).

agreed with hoffman, may propose Armia instead. and my thought is Ottawa turns it around and needs cap space by the TDL to add pieces for a playoff run. theres no way that top6 doesnt put it together and starts scoring goals in bunches

Armia holds less value than Hoffman.
And no, OTT isn’t getting back into the mix without Norris. How you seen where OTT is in the division? How many teams they’d have to leapfrog?

Not that it’s gonna be top 10 but it’s always a good idea to hold on to your first round pick unless your like one of the top cup contenders which the Jets aren’t

I don’t hate the Leafs trade, gives alot more grit but also allows Anderson a playmaker in Mitch or Willy to help him with his scoring, Savard has a cup & has looked decent, Allen is an immediate upgrade, Monohan is a ? imo, Pitlick is a good bottom to middle 6er so idk how to feel about this, Decent proposal

Dude you’re getting Allen,Pitlick,Savard & Anderson + Monahan with retention for Engvall,Holl,Murray,Kerfoot & a 1st in 2023 (which is the only true piece of value here)

Even if you disagree this is what the leafs need those are assets that you can flip especially Monahan if he’s already at 50% , 25% more & you can get a 1st for him depending how he plays

You may want to double check that. Allen, Savard, Monahan and Pitlick are in the trade. Nothing of value there Allen is a backup, Savard is an aging guy making too much money, Monahan is a cap dump and Pitlick literally doesn't matter. All to lose a 1st round pick in a stacked draft and Kerfoot? Come on
