This is a good point. You can’t win the cup in OCT or NOV but you can dig yourself such a huge hole the season gets lost. VAN with Miller was arguably at best the 4th best team in the Pacific without him they are what the 5th or 6th yet now their saddled with that cap hit until he’s 38 ouch.

I think it's the opposite, Miller is actively hurting them, his defensively metrics this season are horrendous. His offensive production which is still good is not over shadowing how bad he defensive impacts are. The Canucks probably would have been a better team without him on the ice.
