Mode - plafond salarial: Basique

Description

Sens get a cost controlled top 4 rhd and pld that they may be able to extend as Ottawa is very close to Quebec and a third pair lhdto slot in behind Chabot and Sanderson long term.

Jets get a top 6 c with team control in Pinto. Take on cat and his $9m salary this year with the same team control as PLD and then take Zaitsev as a cap dump and to act as insurance if Heinola flames out on the right side.

Yeesh, can't see OTT trading Cat AND Pinto for that. Dubois has some stink on him for never being happy, and no offense to OTT but I don't see him happy there either.

I can't see the Jets considering anything this drastic at all. They're basically trades for the sake of making trades and the Jets have no real reason to entertain anything like this at this point.

take out Pinto and Cat and OTT accept. your not gonna get a Cat or Pinto for Dubois, he is a rental he wants to hit UFA

Zaitsev’s contract is also terrible which is why he’s been waived and not claimed. People don’t even want him for free so you’d have to pay to move him.

Debrincat at $9m AAV is solid wdym LOL He's been very good for Ottawa, shooting at like 2.3% so the goals will come.
We don't need to pay to move Zaitsev we have the cap space. Plenty actually. Also we could move him next season retained for very cheap or just buy him out.
So why would we give up assets or add him in a Cat trade lowering value.
Pinto is has two-way 1C potential, I wouldn't even trade him 1 for 1 for PLD. Jets make out like Gangbusters here and its not even close

Yeah it's not that they're bad trades, it's just that they don't really accomplish anything. Other than making the Jets wing heavy.

Debrincat is a good winger, but expensive. PLD plays the more valuable position and is more valuable to the Jets than a $9.0 mil winger.

Pionk being a top 4 RHD is far more valuable than Pinto and the Jets need Pionk while not needing Pinto.

Stanley, while not worth a ton is worth more than Zaitsev who is a cap dump.

So, the trades just serve to make the Jets weaker at center and defense while adding to their biggest strength, wing.
