Zaitsev is really an interesting story. In the 2016 World Cup he looked dynamite. He was easily Russias best dman. He had a fair season with the Leafs that year. Lou signed him to a bad Lou contract. And then he seemed to take a major step back. He’s been a 6th-7th D man caliber ever since.
