Meier is a real possibility if they wanted to pursue a top 6 guy this year, trading within the division might be extra cost but his value should initially be lower than normal anyways due to his QO.

what reason do the Sens have to trade away their PPG forward who costs less than $5M a year while they're trying to break into their competing window???? not sure you quite get how trades work
