Is Formenton injured?
No
Quoting: Lunatik
Also, if not signed by Dec. 1 he can't play this year and it's being predicted it is more likely he'll be traded before that deadline so he can sign with the new team.
Everything is possible but I highly doubt it happens. Look at the Bruins recent Mitchell Miller signing. They canceled it 2 days later because of "new information"
We're talking about a bullying case vs a GANG RAPE case... One is just not like the other.
No team in their right mind WILL or SHOULD trade and sign Formenton until his name is CLEARED. If he isn't, he'll be canceled and never play NHL hockey again.

The Flames would also never trade Kylington for Formention straight up, even if Formenton was signed and is healthy. Kylington is just as good offensively despite being a defenseman, and played in the top 4 last year.
How are you able to say that? Let me guess : you looked at point totals on hockeydb.com. Don't worry, I'm used to it
Alex Formenton is the 2nd fastest skater in the league behind McDavid. He was 22 y/o rookie last season and led the league in short handed goals. He put defenses on their toes constantly and creates havoc with his speed and physicality. He is DEARLY missed right now
He is also already pretty good defensively and has a mean streak. Also, it would be foolish to think he has already peaked. He was pacing at PPG for 10+ games once he was moved in a top-6 role (don't remember which injury it was). Note that none of his 18 goals as a rookie were on the PP. No PP time

I have POLLED hundred of Sens fans and only 2% would have traded him for a late 1st round pick at the past deadline. Most were saying a mid 1st at the very least.
But I agree that Kylington has pretty good value too. I am not saying Flames would do that if both were playing and had no personal issues but I think you might not now exactly what you'd have in Formenton
