Ok, We got lit up last night, and one player stood out and I really wanted the nucks to get him this off season but we didnt even though he was for sale and went for pennies on the dollar. That man was John Marino, another comp would be brandon carlo but B's fans would ask for pettersson so I just wont include them in this

He is no longer available according to devs fans so we need to find the next one

Helleson is a no go, as the Ducks are likewise short on Defensive D, especially right shot. Ian Moore might be moveable, but we like to have two rounds in the magazine for each position to ensure that one of them hits. We are lacking in defensive D on the left, and top 6 LW, preferably of the power forward variety. If we made Moore available, what do you have that fits our needs? Keep in mind we want our playoff window top open in probably 2 years, and last for quite a while, so old guys are not of interest, and draft picks are not great.

I think Iorio would be the most likely to be moved and Washington needs forwards now with Oshie and WIlson on IR and Backstrom on LTIR.

There is Zero chance Julien Briseboi trades Nick Perbix without a grotesque overpay. In his first year as a pro he's already playing with Sergachev getting top 4 minutes why on earth does JBB remotely consider trading him?

Zach Metsa -- another NCAA free agent worth looking at. He is probably on par with Livingston. He is as good a transition defender as there is NCAA.

Don’t let the height and point totals fool you, Metsa is a very good defender. He was ECAC defensive dman of the year and a top shutdown option on one of NCAA best defenses.

Boqvist is the one on the outside looking in. I’d also say Cuelamens is likely to be at least 2-3 years away from the NHL.

It might be something that the canucks look into if we move on Bear or Rathbone, I dont want to be mr traditional but a bigger blueline gets pushed around a little less, (Myers, Schenn). I am open but skeptical on a smaller blueline but would ideally have 3 6'+ers
